I’m currently looking for a cheap (prefereably around or under $500) laptop so I can work on stuff outside.
It’s primary uses would be:
1. Translating (using Qt Linguist, VASTT, Editpad)
2. School work (Microsoft Office stuff)
3. eroge

I don’t need great specs, so if anyone knows of good cheap laptops, please tell me!
So far, this is the best (price) I’ve found.

I am suffering severe withdrawal symptoms since I haven’t been playing much eroge recently (no, translating them doesn’t count). So, I’m going to take a break from translating for about a week and play through a few eroges. Right now, I’m playing through BUNNYBLACK and planning to move onto Muv-Luv Chronicals after that. I’ll write reviews as I finish them.

I am proud to announce our SWAN SONG translation patch, version 1.0!!
This is a full patch which translates all the text and images in the game.
The patcher/installer can:

• Install the game.
• Patch the translation over the installed game.
• Will automatically patch over any previous translation patches.
• Install a no-CD patch.

Note: The patch installer only supports the CD version of the game. The patch may work on the DVD version if you install the game beforehand, then run the patch installer, choose Manual Installation and select the game directory when prompted for the installation directory.

Here are a few screenshots from Majikoi (our next project). The scripts can be inserted, but there’s still a lot of bugs that need to be fixed. I want to release a small patch once I finish translating just the prologue (upto the point where the OP movie plays), but the prologue script alone is over 10000 lines. ^^;
This will be a loooooong project, so please bear with us.
