Sengoku Rance teaser patch release
I am proud to announce the release of Sengoku Rance’s teaser patch!!
Before downloading the patch, please keep in mind that this is only a teaser patch with lots of unfinished things. This patch is only intended for people who are very eager to play the game. If you want the complete experience of the game, I suggest waiting until the next patch where I plan to include the translated images and misc events (though, there is no ETA for this…). Please also be aware that old saves may not be compatible with patches released in the future.
This is a patch for version 1.04 of the game. (It may also work on 1.00, although we haven’t tested it on that version)

Thanks for all your hard work!
Great timing on the teaser patch release. I just recently set up Kouhime and Najou Ran PVCs on my bookshelf.

Almost thought this was an April Fools joke. We really appreciate all the hard work you put into translating. ^^
I don’t suppose there’s any chance you could give brief translations/summaries of some of the best April Fools?

btw, how do we know which version we had?

Go to help and click about should show you what version it has. K so I download the patch ver.104 and extracted the files into the Rance directory but it still shows the same version from last. Did I do something wrong?

It is really a nice game and thanks for the teaser patch, finally understand a few buttons. xD Can’t wait for more.
It resembles Koihime Musou, would be nice if someone did that game…
Whatever, like this strategic games and hope you will go till the end. Because I read a few posts at mirror moon I have a present for you:
A LOLI!
Because I couldn’t stand seeing your loli crying all alone, now you have two. =D

I’m too lazy to translate, but the best ones, in my opinion, were Nekoneko and Overdrive. Nekoneko announced a new eroge with clay figures, even with sample CGs with naked clay figures!
Overdrive did a parody of Kariage-kun. If you don’t know what that is… imagine a Dilbert eroge… yeah…

Are you sure that you overwrote the old files? You didn’t copy it into a wrong directry?

why does it say images not translated? Didn’t you post a couple of days ago that they were finished?(also says so on main sengoku page)

The v1.04 patch won’t work. In addition, the teaser patch isn’t asking me to overwrite any existing files. Am I missing something?

Text translation of the images is done, yes.
But the translation still has to be edited into the images (the japanese has to be taken out and replaced with the translated text) before they can be put into the game. This is still not finished yet.
So yeah, it would be more correct to say image translation is not applied yet… Sorry for the confusion (if this explanation isn’t confusing enough)

I don’t understand what you mean when you say “the teaser patch isn’t asking me to overwrite any existing files”. You just drag the .ain file you downloaded into the folder Sengoku Rance is installed in. It should be something like C:\Program files\AliceSoft\Sengoku Rance. Are you sure you have Sengoku Rance installed?
