This is a free game, so the exe comes with the complete game along with fully translated scripts.

For people who might be wondering why I went and translated a free game…
This was actually one of the games I translated for altogether 2006. Since Brass Restoration was one of my favorite free games back at the time, I got the author’s permission and translated it.
So why release now on this site? Well, after I submitted it, it went into “editing” where it sat on someone’s computer collecting dust. After a while (more like 2 years), I just restarted the project with the help from the awesome staff from Wanko to Kurasou. Things went pretty smoothly from there, and it’s finally out. Well, I hope people enjoy this game!

After only an hour and a half of playing, this has become the most hilarious VN I have ever experienced. So far Ryo has been one of the more interesting characters I have ever encountered in a VN.
In any case, I can’t wait to find out what you guys are going to translate next. Two great releases already. I don’t expect you to keep up the insane speed you had with Wanko, but if you’re actually able to produce complete works regularly it will be awesome. It’d put you in a set of only 3-4 groups(a generous estimate) who are actually capable of doing so.

After finishing Yoshine’s route without it, I’ve decided to use the walkthrough, this game is hard.
I’m loving all the random anime/manga references. It’s got pretty much everything — Gundam, Evangelion, even Berserk.

@Grim Angel, if you’re going by the walkthrough, there was an error at the first required choice, you have to choose “……..” rather than “……sigh”. The error has since been fixed. If that’s not it, I have no idea.

The Minori normal end in Yoshine’s route gives you that picture (It’s the same picture as the other one, but zoomed in a little and it doesn’t scroll to the picture of their hands). It’s not available in Minori’s route.

For the walkthrough, Yoshine’s guide misses out the last choice to get her good end, and the first good end for Minori is actually a bad/normal end. But thanks a lot, it turns out this was a great visual novel!

Well, great job on translating the game – certainly one of the most entertaining and long non-commercial games of this type I’ve played. They were certainly going for weird/stupid moe in this game, heh – I almost felt sorry for how the protagonist would rip on the girls sometimes, hehe.
The whole premise with the one-arm percussionist was pretty much a miss to me, given that percussion is one of the few instruments that you CAN actually get away with missing an arm (the Def Leppard drummer for example), and he was only missing his forearm, too (so prosthetic holding drumstick shouldn’t be such a hard thing, really). In that regard, he just came out as a big whiner for the most part that couldn’t make up his weakness with skill (lol @ failure to do one-arm rolls), which kind of annoyed me a lot a number of points during the scenarios.
But then again, he was a lot lighter in disposition than he could’ve been for losing an arm. I guess it’s stupid to try to play out VN situations in real-life; but I like to overanalyze so there

I must say, I find Brass Restoration to nice and entertaining. What makes it interesting is the randomness of Ryo (the most interesting character I have ever read about). I laughed so many times reading what goes on in his thought process. One thing I really love is the music. Is there any place/anyway I can get the music from it?

When I saw “39″ I automatically thought of the anime Galaxy Express 999. Instead of thirty-nine, it can be read as three nine (999), this is just my personal take on it.

Ah, I missed the whole choices in my walkthrough since it doesn’t affect the affection point. I updated the walkthrough. (The only change I made is the choices added for 2/10 on Minori route)
To get the CG, get to the omlet conversation on Feb 10th (should occur if you’re following the walkthrough to get into Minori route), choose “Follow her”, then choose “I know”. There should be a cooking event with a CG later that day.

aslan_zara: Normally, I would give permission to anyone who wants to translate using my English translation, provided that you don’t expect us to do any work for you.
Now, however, Brass Restoration is a special case since we actually got the Japanese author’s permission to translate and distribute the game. I would want you to get his permission as well, except that they’ve disappeared from the internet now. So, even though I can and will give you permission to use our English translation to translate the game into another language, don’t treat it like an official permission from the original authors.

at yoshine’s route, if i’m not mistaken it would be the last decision part where you’re choosing between accepting her love or not, choose not to accept it.. i believe it will give you her good ending…

I found 2 typos in the whole game. If you’ll gonna fix it, I’d also like to recommend to change the message window display to white and black links as the default (menu -> display configuration -> Message window -> 3. Black and white links). I can’t really say, but I like that window message the best of all three.

Excellent visual novel. I wasn’t really digging Yoshine (her attitude bugged me, don’t ask why, and the Koutarou drama was iffy), but this was really enjoyable the whole time. I’m missing the second CG for Minori as well, which isn’t the one in Yoshine’s story (in that one, you just share a CG from Minori’s story as well). I’ll keep working diligently and see if I can help others out

That second CG for Minori some of you were asking for is gotten by taking the following path:
When, on Minori’s route, you are talking with her about omelettes, go after her, then tell Koutarou “I know,” in stead of “It’s a misunderstanding,” or whatever. Can’t remember any necessary choices after that :\
