Do you want another partial patch for Swan song?
Would people want another partial patch release before the final patch release for swan song?
If done, the partial patch would include all text of the normal end, but will not include the happy end nor long bad ends.
pro: will give a chance for people to finish the game once
con: will probably delay overall progress (release of final patch) by a few days
EDIT (Mar 14, 2010): Poll result given. Any additional voting will not matter.

What’s the current ETA for the final release? If it’s like a few weeks or a month something, I’d personally be fine waiting. Otherwise, English me up!

I’m fine with waiting.

and I am want to read it at least once through the end! Because I will not read novel many times in row anyway))

just one question: is the “normal” ending the only one available during the first play?

I can’t really give you an ETA since I have a demanding schedule this quarter and I don’t know when I get free time to translate. I can tell you that it’s not a few weeks or a month. It’ll be longer than that.

Yes, you’re forced onto the normal ending in your first game. You get new choices on your second playthrough to allow you to reach the happy end.

Judging from that information, it would make sense to release a patch that covers the normal end, seeing as how you have to play it anyway. All in all, waiting is fine since this game is worth it.

Normal End patch please.

Well… It’s hard to resist, and it would surely patch me up until the full release. I’d say go for it, unless the normal end is horrible and will just make me cut my wrists.

“yes”

No problem. I’m in no rush; take your time~~
Quality translations are worth the wait imo.

“No”, that would only delay the final product.

by a few days

Well, on the one hand, even if a partial patch is released, I do not plan on using it until the full thing is released. (I have not used the first partial either, because I prefer to wait until the final release with things like this.)
But, I don’t exactly mind waiting a couple of more days that much, either, and it would be fairly selfish of me to deny other people the chance just because of my own preference. I voted no, but it is a very weak no.

I agree, there’s no need for a partial patch in a project that is (almost) certain to be finished.. ^_^

I just hope the number of votes will decide

Dam, I casted my vote to no before reading that you’re forced to get the normal ending during the 1st play anyways:neutral: Taka, maybe you should mention that in your first post. Would have totally voted yes if I knew that.

If I know Taka right, this is a trick question:twisted:
“Are you enthusiastic about Swan Song?”
[ ] yes
[ ] no

better to get the final translation faster than getting a partial now
February 14th, 2010 at 12:27 am 19
As someone who rarely ever plays partials, I’ve voted “no”.
Sorry to those who might want a partial. I’m selfish.
February 17th, 2010 at 1:01 am 20
No,I want to read a whole stroy in one time~~
I just wait the final patch
February 17th, 2010 at 6:00 am 21
Save the best for last, right?
I’ve been waiting to get this translation too, and I think it’ll be better to play with a full patch rather than a partial one. This game looks good…..

I want a patch to Yamibou. I always wanted to play the game to see a good ending ;_;
